Fresh faced and wide eyed, Kaevir begins her adventure followed by her trusty companion, Prarl
From the deck of the Black Citadel, Kaevir and Prarl meet an Asuran engineer called Briictom. They bond while taking in the devastation of the old world before them, and vow to work together to stop such senseless destruction from happening again.
Kaevir and Briictom explore the ruins of old Ascalon, putting restless spirits back into the ground.
Briictom takes Kaevir and Prarl back to his home in Rata Sum for a rest before venturing out into the Metrica Province.
Kaeviir and Prarl both get wet helping Briictom battle rogue Inquest scientists up to no good.
Kaevir scouts ahead as the adventurers cross a waterfall-fed riveer.
After meeting and befriending a Jaguar called Prawl, Kaevir attempts to explore an Asuran lab in the clouds.
A moa tries to pretend Kaevir hasn’t just appeared out of thin air…
After her first lesson in the Black Citadel Trading District, Kaevir is excited at the idea of becoming a master chef.
The view looking down into Lions Arch is breathtaking.
Kaevir unwinds with drinks in Lions Arch while Prawl stretches lethargically.
Later that night, and after more than a few rounds of drinks, Kaevir accepts a dare and takes a death-defying plunge into the harbour waters from the tallest point in Lions Arch. This begins her newfound love of base-diving.
Kaevir starts to become more comfortable underwater, and helps take down a giant rampaging megaladon.
Kaevir meets Kunan the polar bear, and the two bond under the snow-covered cherry blossoms in the Shiverpeaks.
After meeting with the Norn Elders in Hoelbrak, Kaevir learns to commune with her spirit guardian; the Mistfire Wolf.
Taking a break, Kaevir rejuvenates her body and mind in the hot springs of the Wayfarer Foothills.
Kaevir spends the night in a Priory tent as a blizzard rages outside. It is the first time she has spoken with anyone from the Durmond Priory, and she spends the night listening to their tales of Tyrian lore.
Kaevir bond with her new wolf companion, Kaern, at the edge of a flowing stream.
Gaberiel the coral shark joins Kaevir on her journey; well, at least on the aquatic portions.
Visiting the Sylvari homelands is an intense experience full of wonder and awe; Kaevir takes a moment to rest in a giant blossom and take in the sweet breeze that flows through The Grove.
Kaevir finds another Priory outpost and takes refuge for the night with her newfound companion Habrok the Hawk. It looks like Habrok might be about to make a new friend too…
… no, turns out the cat just wanted its belly scratched. Lucky for the cat; Habrok is a force to be reckoned with!
Briictom and Kaevir team up once more to take on the ghost of a pirate king, deep below Lions Arch. Briictom called dibs on the throne, and Kaevir honoured the age of tradition with grace.
Kaevir and her lifelong companion, Horus the Snow Owl, finally make it to the Durmond Priory’s inner chamber. They are about to join the order of ancient lore masters.
The ancient words are said, and the vow is taken. Knowledge is purest form of power, and now it flows through Kaevir like a searing white light.
Kaevir and Horus gaze upon the collated volumes of knowledge collected by the Priory.
Kaevir and Horus meet up with their old friend Briictom, helping him stabilise a long forgotten Asuran research lab.
Kaevir, Horus, and Briictom come face to face with Zhaitan’s lieutenant Tequatl, the undead dragon. Kaevir races to higher ground to pelt the beast with a hail of arrows.
Kaeviir shows of the might of Charr engineering to Horus and Briictom. With the help of the Vigil’s resources, these guns are the thin line of defence against the corruption of the Brand.
A ranger is most effective at altitude, and from this height Kaevir ensures that she and Briictom are not about to run into any ambushes.
Kaevir takes a plunge with a cheeky sockeye salmon.
Briictom and Kaevir may be from different lands, but they both share a deep love of waterfalls :3

Back in the Black Citadel, Kaevir and Horus remember those brave souls that have fallen in this terrible fight against Zhaitan’s minions.
At the summit of Mount Maelstrom, Kaeviir and Briictom meet Skarp; an eager and friendly salamander drake.
Kaevir and Briictom purge the Ascalonian Catacombs of the ghosts of fallen Ascalon.
Putting the spirits to rest, Kaevir and Horus acknowledge the atrocities the Charr unleashed on Ascalon during the searing. While she was just a cub at the time, it is important to respect those who fall on both sides of war.
Kaevir is very protective of her waterfalls…
